“Our Child’s Alphabet” is a video project designed to be a voice for our children, a reminder to all parents that our children need more love, attention, and support. 

I wrote this poem for my children when they were learning the alphabet many decades ago. I wrote this poem in a way that my children would understand what each letter and associated comment represented, and the commitment I was going to make to them for the rest of their lives. I wanted to let them know that they are now, and ever will be, loved and appreciated.

This poem is a reminder to all parents to spend more quality time with their children.  Read each line in the voices of our children asking for you, your love, and your understanding that they are not adults. Just a simple request to create happy memories!

I am now taking this poem and creating “Our Child’s Alphabet Video Project”. Getting your children to say each line in a video, and then combine all the videos to create a complete video alphabet in the voices of our most precious resource, our children. I look forward to seeing your family videos to be considered for this project.

Let’s create happy memories for our children to brag about when they are older!
